Alcohol Advertising; Its Overlying effects on adolescents

Adolescents are young male and female humans between the age of 10-17 years. During adolescence, lots of changes occur.Adolescents tend to explore as they want to understand what goes on in their bodies and physical environment.
At this period, they are exposed to lots of good and bad. I will term this period "period of exploration". Adolescents have physical,emotional, social and sexual changes that occur in them.

Does alcohol advertising have a negative impact on adolescents?
Alcohol is the most popular drug amongst young people in recent times. Young people tend to consume alcoholic contents due to peer pressure,ads, role modeling,etc. Alcohol advertising goes on in TV channels in which young people are exposed to. Other ways in which alcohol advertising is passed on to adolescents is via mobile devices through social media, community mix up, peer groups, etc.
Alcohol advertising is being viewed by young people because most of these companies have adopted business- rising methods. Such an example is in the use of role models and celebrities to carry out this commercials. Young people also tend to have role models and when it happens that their role models are the chosen ones ro commercialize beer products or other alcoholic beverages, they tend to get more interested.
How does this affect young people?
Studies have shown that alcohol advertising without necessary sanctions has caused the early onset of drinking in young people.Although there are a few studies that counter this, more studies have shown that there are negative effects. Alcohol use has been identified as a leading cause of depressions, accidents, fatal and non fatal injuries, fights, loss of job, Health implications,etc.
All these after effects are on an increase.
